Retrieving Homework

Verdant logged into the ACDC network, the grass and vine behemoth glancing around at the area around him. As he stood, around where his feet were, grasses began to briefly grow beneath him, but seemed transient, as if it were to fade away as soon as he took a step. And that was very likely.

Verdant began to shamble forward then, his footsteps thudding loudly on the ground as he came forward, tracking whatever program, or virus, had broken into Iris' laptop and taken her files.

"Verdant make sure not to damage my test! I worked really hard on that!"

Verdant.exe looking for his first battle!
Arriving in the ACDC net left Verdant in a moderately sized green park space, seemingly clear of viruses for now. It was a warm afternoon in quiet ACDC, the sun low on the horizon turning the sky a shifting orange, while a fresh breeze carried the scents of pollen and grass seed. Several slim walkways crossed the park, though left most of it to grass perfect for young navis to rough-house on and play games. for now, it was empty, however.


As Verdant began to move off in search of the missing test pages, a sound to his right caught the nature-creature's attention. A trio of small-ish metools were dashing up to him hurriedly, in quite a rush, though they stopped a respectful distance away as they drew close. The one on the left waved its pickaxe in a friendly manner, eyes smiling, then seemed to remember itself and stood in line with the other two. The middle one held up a sign, scratched with childish viral printing that read 'Learning is fun!' the one to the right held up a second sign. This one, in equally juvenile handwriting, read 'Let's try subtraction!' Then, with a pair of gleeful 'meep's, they readied their pickaxes. The one on the left seemed a bit less certain about this, casing sidelong glances to its companions instead.
