Monsterous Murdering

Asymptote beamed down onto the eerily familiar network, letting out a sigh as he took a seat on the ground, he had been running around a lot today. The hulking navi rubbing across his head as he took a breather, laying down on his back and sprawling out. Despite the generator that embedded itself inside his back, he seemed to have no problems with this. Bleh...maybe I need to take a break...thinking I might be burning myself out on this sort of thing. He grumbled under his breath, bloodshot eyes staring up at the sky above.
Grumbling to himself as he slowly got back onto his feet, Asymptote stretched out across the paneling beneath his feet. He waited long enough to get going, Joseph was probably getting impatient anyways. May as well continue on his way and see what comes to him, he did have a billy bounty to fill out and was getting close to a milestone anyways, if anything came his way, it would be a welcome surprise, but he wasn't gonna wait around anymore, it was busting time.

(Battle 1, 230 HP)
After picking himself up and setting off, thoughts of wearing out on his mind and overwork weighing on him about as much as a heavy metal generator in the back, Asymptote lumbered off to find more viruses to hunt.

His trek brought him through a series of arching walkways and narrow, sheltered passages running under neon-lit structures, advertising all manner of mostly useless products, but after a while exploring, he stepped out onto a broad viewing platform, that seemed to run the length of a raised area, above a slightly more peculiar scene. A large rectangular space floated in some sort of anti-gravity lock, at the bottom of the descending stairway ahead of him. It was flat and metal, but it had lines marked on it in glowing light, making it look almost like a soccer pitch. The clear space was broad, but outside the floating field, there did appear to be numerous stands for watching, not unlike the one Asymptote was standing on. each had a walkways that led down to the edge of the gravity field, where it would be a small matter to jump across to the pitch itself.

On the field, in the very centre, Asymptote could see a green data crystal, spinning in place. someone had painted little back diamonds on it, making a checker pattern. Not to far from the very poor excuse for a 'ball', two HardHeads squared off, about equal distance from the data crystal, at the edge of the central ring pattern.

Behind each of them, at the near and far ends of the field, two goal post structures, complete with electric-grid nets, had been set up, and were being guarded by a Billy each, both shifting back and forth and licking their prongs together in anticipation.

It was about as Asymptote was taking this in, when a sound behind him stood a good chance of drawing the navi's attention. A brief crumpling of panels, would draw the eye to a section of ground behind hi, peeling back and allowing a spread of ice to begin creeping out of where the panels had displaced. It was accompanied by the sound of... bells? Small ringing bells, in the rhythm of someone running quickly gave way, after a moment more to a small figure bursting up out of the hole in a flurry of snowflakes and errant sprigs of mistletoe and holly berries.

The first impression was a blur of white and red, before the tiny figure – three feet at most, landed properly on the pit, which had sealed itself over into a glowing section of solar panels. White fur, long ears, and matching ensemble of a red velvet chest band, skirt and festive cap, all ruffed with white fir trim at the edges. The cap was a long, pointed sock-cap, with a red pom-pom at the tip, handing down her back, and had several small bells stitched to it. She also seemed to have bracelets on her wrist and ankles that jingled as she moved. Largely lapin features scanned the area then focused back on Asymptote.

“It's you! Hey there, big guy! Happy non-denominational holiday that you choose to celebrate at this festive time of the year!” With a quick step that almost seemed to blur her motions, the diminutive bunny girl darted across to him and pulled a small crystal out of a hand basket she had been holding, showing it to him, before flicking it onto the ground, where it unfolded and grew into a full sized mystery data. With a wink, she flicked the tip of the crystal and set it spinning.

“Have fun! I'd stay and watch, but you wouldn't believe the amount of deliveries I've got to make still!” With a quick skip back, she winked and blew Asymptote a kiss, then turned and darted back down the passageway he had just come from earlier, white rabbit tail flicking and bobbing in time with the jingling of her bells as she raced off.

Asymptote blinked, lumbered his way deeper and deeper into the network as time went on, his steps finding him climbing and climbing as the steps creaked under his bulk...finding himself amidst a soccer stadium, a quartet of viruses below and Asymptote observing from the bleachers...well it wasn't the strangest thing he had wandered into, that was for sure. But with a crumpling of panels, Asymptote took his eyes off the viruses to turn and see the cause of such a sound. He missed it, there was a presence around him, somewhere, eyes and head darting about, catching brief glimpses of whoever it was that popped up out of the paneling...before finally finding a much, MUCH smaller navi than himself, having resisted using his cables to stop her in place to get a good look at her she...was a seasonally dressed rabbit...still not the craziest thing he's seen as of late. But she tossed down a GMD, giving him a blown kiss before running off, he barely had a chance to yell out Thanks! And Happy Hollidays to you too! before she sped off, his head swiveling to the GMD she dropped down and then back to the awaiting quartet of viruses, his mind racing as he figured a good way to tackle the fight, even if it meant some personal damages to himself. A moment later, his eyes practically rolling about his head as he began to access his own signature programs, he needed to protect the GMDs at the very least, fragile enough that a single attack would delete them outright. But just before he could move, the navi would spit out a ball of electricity...right at one of the Hardheaded viruses, the energy shocking across it's form and hampering its ability to damage him or the GMDs that were set-up upon the field.

His cables snapping against one another to begin generating a heavy charge, Asymptote began to move forward from the GMD placed behind him, the navi pounding his chest as he did, taking careful steps to not tumble down the flight of bleachers that he stood upon. This ain't no game! Asymptote roared out as his generator hummed loudly, a webbing of electrical energy slowly emerging from the cables that whipped about his back, his body quivering in excitement as this webbing of energy would encompass the GMD that the nice bunny girl set down for him, electrical bindings ready to deflect attacks from the viruses. But he wasn't done setting up, no, his powerful legs would send him flying from the bleachers onto the hard metal field in front of him, Asymptote landing with a loud, extremely powerful stomp that quaked the earth beneath him, his legs carrying him just a bit farther as he began the second stage of his defensive encompassing. The navi stretching his cables like rubber, another electrical hum coming from his body as the cables extended to the GMD in front of him in the middle of the field, energy and fire cutting the cables away before long as they wrapped the GMD in a soft rubber casing, electrical wires connecting to one another to provide additional support around the fragile datacube. This ball is mine. As are your lives. Asymptote spoke again, a fire in his eyes as he began to wordlessly request chips on Joseph's PET.

A click later, Asymptote's body worked to create the data in such a way he could use to reduce his potential damage intake. Asymptote took a moment to calculate where to hit the virus, before finally opening up his mouth, widely as his jaw began to seemingly unhinge itself, the navi charging up a ball of flaming energy from within before finally hurling it at the unfortunate virus, impacting upon its body to begin melting it from within, turning those cannonballs it holds into semi-solids. Putting his jaw back into place, Asymptote began to charge up for another attack, jolts and volts flying off of his body as he began to create an extra charge he could make use of and quickly had it all setup and ready to go. Body charged to the breaking point as he channeled the additional volts he had created into three fingers, a bright glow as each finger crackled with electrical power. Swiftly flinging one finger into the air, Asymptote shot out a bolt of lightning into the air, twisting and turning around as it flew off towards the far end of the field and to delete the Billy. Another fling of his finger, Asymptote sent out an identical bolt of lightning towards the Billy on the opposite side of the field, the same bolt of lightning swiftly twisting and turning towards it, honing in on it's own electrical energy like the bolt before. And finally, Asymptote lowered his finger towards one of the hardheads, crackling bolt of lightning erupting out of his digit in an attempt to pierce the metallic hide of the immobile virus and end it.

Turning towards the other virus, Asymptote began to take heed of his own inaccuracies with the following chip he had, so a quick moment to ready himself and take thorough aim at the immobile virus, Asymptote leapt into action against it. The navi summoning a trio of metallic fists in front of him, Asymptote would take heed of what was about to happen, sending fist after fist flying towards the Hardhead he had melted internally, each fist flying through the air rapidly before finding purchase in the virus or surrounding terrain, a metal on metal clash echoing around him with each fist finding purchase in the field, hoping this was enough to one-round swiftly eliminate the viruses just as quick as they showed up for him.

A moment of mildly confused greeting and thanks later, Asymptote was left to deal with the dangers posed by faux-sport-playing viruses. the first order of business as, naturally, to enshroud the two data crystals, both safe and at-risk, in protective shells and armour before the mathematician-turned sports-instructor was forced to take the field himself.

The two HardHeads prepared for their face off at the 'ball' in the centre in the traditional way – that is to say, by slamming their muzzles shut tight and hardening their own defences. An epic stand-off ensued, with neither side claiming control of the ball. As Asymptote began to make his way down the slope, the two goalies took matters into their own prongs, each with the same idea; they flicked their electrodes and sent dual shock balls across the arena, each aiming one at Asymptote, and one at the 'ball'.

Fortunately, their aim on this particular day was about as abysmal as the HardHead's initial attempts to gain ball control; of the four sparking balls, three missed entirely, crashing into the stands around Asymptote, while only one found its mark, and was stymied anyway by the protective casing covering the data crystal in the centre.

The two HardHeads opened up, turning to face Asymptote and blasting heavy canon rounds at him instead of the ball, but the large brute coming towards them was surprisingly nimble, dodging away from the shots, to the sound of further stadium destruction behind him. A moment later, Asymptote arrived on the field and began handing out red cards, in the form of vicious lightning bolts that fried the two Billies, and also managed to destroy the targeted HardHead while its muzzle was still open. the last remaining virus got some special attention, and was treated to a volley of destructive fists that smashed it into the metal.

The game was won well before the first quarter was even called, with Asymptote winner by default or being the only player left. On the bright side, this left him in a perfect position to take his ball and leave.

Opend GMD(s)?
Asymptote sighed out contently, the viruses were swiftly deleted without a second thought. He protected his treasures from being deleted. Asymptote would let the barrier and casing drop from either GMD, grabbing the checkered one and slowly climbing up towards the one the bunny navi dropped for him in the name of the netmas spirit. Alright Joseph, drop me an Untrap and I'll open these up. That thing you bought for my customizer should work too.Just one? What about the other? We don't know if it's untrapped, she could have easily dropped an inert mimic for us to stumble on.That would be horribly mean all things considered. Most navis wouldn't come greet ya right before a fight broke out and give ya an MD without making sure it's not trapped first. Plus, pretty sure all THOSE types are either high up mafia and Police bosses or Undernet tier navis. I just got a feeling, alright? With a sigh, Joseph would concede Asymptote's point, slotting in the subchip and sending it to him, while Asymptote injected it into the natural MD while activating both.

(Untrap x1 used on MD present at the start of the fight)
Untraps left: 3, NC program activate: MILLIONS (Zenny drops only, no rolling for chips or Bugfrags)
After gathering up his rewards, and untrapping the more suspicious of the two data crystals, Asymptote opened them both and was rewarded with the data from each of them being converted into a profitable amount of zenny, and no further mishaps.

GMD(s): 5000z total.
Happily gathering up the data he cashed out on, Asymptote sent it to his PET and began to lumber on, slowly but surely making his way deeper and deeper into the network.

(Battle 2, 230 HP, Billy Bounty)
Moving on from the odd and distinctly unsafe soccer field, Asymptote ventured further and deeper into the electown net, passing through heavily neon-advertised walk ways, and eventually further into some of the less well-travelled back alleys. the hum and snap of sign boards and the general background sounds of the busy network faded together into an unnotable white noise, and the sights were less than inspiring, until Asymptote wandered into a dimly lit plaza, spot-lit by flickering flood lights and the occasional crackling overhead neon.

Shadows moved in the dark corners, but the most obviously visible feature of the enclosed space was a bright line of glowing solar panels that marked off a rising ramp, on one side of the plaza. Beyond it, the ground was covered in magnetic circuitry, and it seemed to continue across a platform that was a decent two or three Asymptotes higher than the ground level. The bottom of the ramp was covered by a sturdy-looking barrier gate, and a second, thicker one blocked the top of hte ramp. The entire setting radiated a strong 'keep out' vibe, though there were no signs anywhere, and it didn't really look like anything official.

A low hum broke through the other background noises, as a strange sight came into view. A hovering platform, floating about seven feet off the ground, drifted to the edge of the raise section, a small spotlight scanning. It had a broad flat top, and sported a collection of vulcan cannons as mounted armaments on its sides. A heavy-looking extension hung below the main platform as well, ending in the muzzle of a very large-bore cannon. Three figures were mounted on the large machine; each looked like a small humanoid robot, maybe three feet tall, with glowing points in their palms and chests. One stood on the top of the platform, while two more hung onto handles on the side, perched securely with one foot braced against the side of the machine.

the machine turned the corner and began to patrol along the edge of the raised section, before turning sharply and beginning to scan its light across the ground below. Indignant viral chatter from Asymptote's left, accompanied by the click of metal and the crack of sparks drew the spot light suddenly to a Billy that has appeared from the dark, but as it did, the light passed over Asymptote himself. It flashed red briefly, and a small siren sounded once, before falling to silence again.

The three robot soldiers leapt free of the hovering platform, taking up positions at the top of the ramp; two of them presented their hands, palms out, at the top, on either side of the heavy gate, looking down at the area below, while the third jumped down to land in front of the top gate in a brief hero-pose, before it stood and held one hand forward as well. The hovering gun turret shimmered as a cloaking field fell over it, hiding it from sight.

GunGeists are a combination of CannonDumb, Spooky, and Needler viruses. They are quite tall, as they consist of a Needler virus with a CannonDumb hanging from the bottom, and vulcans replacing their nail guns. They float quietly in space, and activate invis once an enemy is detected. They move during battle only by teleporting just after activating invis, although they do hover around slowly outside of combat.

-=Battle 2, Start!=-
Asymptote had continued to trudge through the networks, the navi's vision catching glimpses of things here and there as he continued along his path, only for him to finally come to a head as he entered a dimly lit plaza, passing through further and further, a faint glowing from the electrically charged solar panels leading upwards on one side of the plaza, upwards, several heads above him was a outcropping of magnetically charged panels and he continued to stomp through, until finally catching his eye...was a large hover platform, several feet above the ground it carried three humanoid soldiers clad entirely in white, each soldier looking combat capable and ready to fight. He thought nothing of it...until he heard a very familiar chatter of a virus he has had a bit of history with...turning his head downwards, he noticed a Billy to his left...and then a light passing over his body...klaxon sounding briefly before he turned his head back upwards to the platform above him, the three soldiers dropping down to the outcropping above him, weapons pointed right at him...combat routines immediately flared to life, adrenaline flooding the monster's body, his fingers clenching and heart racing, Asymptote readied himself for whatever came from this.

Assessing the situation quickly, Asymptote began to formulate, calculate as his eyes darted from every which way, body growing more intensely hot as he began to charge up his generator, cables smacking against the metal panels behind him as he charged himself, generator letting out a loud screech as metal scraped against metal, even if he was in a "restricted" area of the network, he wasn't about to turn tail and flee regardless. Joseph. ElecReel. Asymptote spoke as his generator continued to screech, even louder than before, fists clenched and punching each other, sparks flying between his knuckles as they connected, his murderous glare looking up at the viruses on the outcropping.

A quick click and download, Asymptote's arms would slowly reach outwards towards the two X1s overlooking the field he stood on. Asymptote's arms downloading the data and uploading it to his arms, a pair of pronged pylons began to grow outwards, a mishmash of circuitry, wrought metal and pieces of bloody red gore from bottom to tip, blood stains coating across the prongs he created and a dripping of viscous fluids dripping across the ground in front of him as he took aim at one of the X1 viruses. The navi clashing the two prongs together, a wide electrical charge leaping from prong to prong, slowly moving one from the other as the arc of power connected the two...before he clashed them together again and again, charge building up, light glowing brightly before clashing them together a third time...and with it...a bolt of lightning would leap off into the air briefly before swiftly leaping towards one of the X1 viruses, a crash of thunder where it had stood and sending similar leaping arcs of lightning thundering off to either side and behind where the bolt hit, unsure if the virus would be a smoldering pile of scrap data, unsure of the leaping arcs would hit anything else. But he had faith in his aim striking true.

But before he would follow up on his attacks, Asymptote fled from his position as quickly as he could. His body quickly stomping, running towards the solar panels that lined the way upwards, knowing full well he may put himself into further danger if he made his way up the hill overlooking where he had been, he could exactly reach the X1 that had been perched upon the gate at the back of the field. His feet finding purchase with the energizing solar panels, his cables subconsciously drifting down to absorb energy being brought from them, Asymptote was on the move after a quick breather, his feet stepping heavy on the path upwards, his feet finding purchase with the magnetically charged paneling, his balance unwavering thanks to his connection to the electrical energies they emanated, Asymptote would quickly find himself trying to get roughly in front of the gate that the virus perched itself upon, trying to line himself up with it just a little bit. Magbolt! Asymptote barked out, almost in a demanding fashion. Joseph shrugged his shoulders and shook his head with a sigh.

Chip data sent, Asymptote got to work again, his hands outstretched, body turned towards where the X1 he noticed on top of the Barrier Gate. Absorbing partial energy from the magnet panel below him, Asymptote pointed himself in it's general direction, energy flooding to his fingertips as he began to
activate an immense electrical pull towards the virus, hoping to catch it in the magnetic traction, bringing it to his hands and immediately zapping it between both of his hands with a clap, lightning eminating and flooding through his digits.

A sigh coming from him after his attacks, Asymptote took the better part of descresion for the moment, his form quickly jumping from where he was and attempting to head back towards the realitively safe solar outcropping towards the beginning of the ramp he had traveled upwards, his feet wishing to keep purchase on the regnerative paneling to keep himself half-way healthy, barrier quick to charge to life, protective energy flooding around his body to discharge and block attacks. Afterwards, his arms outstretched towards the skys, Asymptote sent up a large bolt of lightning into the atmosphere. Thundering and rumbling clouds beginning to form above him and the rest of the field, his cables activating and sending more bolts into the clouds, moments passing before the rumbling growing louder and louder before a crash of lightning landing around the Magnet panels, shorting them out in short order one after another, the colors fading quickly before disappearing...replaced by a maliable, heavy metal.

Not one to be perturbed by off-limits secure areas, Asymptote made his aggressive intent known. The first blast of lightning arced out to the top of the ramp, even as the two top-most super soldiers presented their arms, palms forward, and began to fire a volley of laser shots at him. the lightning blast disintegrated one of the soldiers before it could fire even a single shot, though the second managed a short volley before the jumping energy also crisped it. Asymptote was winged by a single laser round, though the electricity inherent in the shot briefly arced through him to discharge through the metal panels beneath his feet.

With those two down, the hulk-navi started to move, circling around the lower gate and leaping up onto the ramp – all told, the bottom ramp wasn't really a terribly effective security measure, when he could just go around like that. Before he could take any hostile action against the remaining soldier in front of him, however, the sound of a cannon's crack shot, from somewhere to his side, echoed in the gloom. A moment later, a sudden impact in his side hurled Asymptote off the ramp, to the metal panels below. The gun turret was patently still here, and still invisible.

Not dissuaded, Asymptote recovered and pulled himself back onto the ramp a second time, moving up as the Billy, forgotten at the back, released a slowly tracking homing ball that had no hope of reaching Asymptote just yet. The math-navi was busy anyway, preparing his magnetic bolt to draw in and fry the last soldier. As he released it, however, the anchoring beam lanced out, only for the three-foot machine to leap back, turning over onto a single hand stand and flicking back to land on one knee little further back. The bolt scattered into the magnet panels, and didn't manage to grab the evasive foe.

Another cannon shot alerted Asymptote to the turret's continued harassment, but he was able to preempt it this time and dodged backwards, his back almost to the lower barrier gate as he raised his own defences. As he did, however, his eyes were drawn back to the small soldier occupying the ramp with him. Still kneeling down, its arms had spread to the side in curled fists, and a central panel in its chest had opened up, showing a bright, circular light. That was about what Asymptote had time to take in, before the light became a battering beam of energy that fired from the figure's chest, slamming Asymptote back against the gate hard. His own defence held up to the assault, but only just. The beam certainly had some punch to it.

As the battle on the big bridge short ramp continued, Asymptote set off a storm of lightning strikes that disrupted the intricate magnetic panels and transformed them all into pure conductive metal. This was probably in preparation for some of his other plans, but an unfortunate side effect was that the second thunder ball launched by the billy at the back managed to break the last of his barrier as it connected with him.

An errant twitch...a convulsive movement...he felt the billy's ball of lightning go through his barrier, making his body act up. He could feel his systems locking up, if only briefly. The bolts of lightning around his body dispersing after a few moments, his mobility restored...a creepy, almost evil smile coming up across his face, metal creaking and pneumatic hissing as he turned to the viruses. He wasn't speaking, in fact...he was almost dead silent. He simply raised his arms up, his legs bending with a few pops at the knees as he waited for a moment, watching the projectile homing in upon his body...and with great strength, Asymptote would launch himself off towards the side where it wasn't trying to hone in on him, his body flying through the air briefly as cables began to wrap around his body, melding and melting to cover his body (sans head) in a protective rubber and metal compound, at least allowing him to protect against an attack...hopefully.

Alright Joseph, any way to figure out what the hell's hitting me? Can't see it, it's likely somewhere within the confines of this area...but just blindly firing is gonna be a bad idea. Asymptote finally spoke, he was keeping his eyes on the viruses as best he could, his protection keeping him insulated for the moment, but he needed to act quickly. Here. Think these two might be what you're looking for. One seeks, the other hones in on an enemy. Should be just enough. Asymptote nodded as the chips were sent to him almost immediately. His eyes darting about the field, trying to find purchase with the virus that had been taking potshots at him, he couldn't find much...but regardless, he took another chance to evade, his legs sending him further through the air towards the middle of the field, a squeak here and there from his rubberized armor as his feet found purchase with the ground again, swiveling on his heel to face the area as best he could.

Raising his arms up towards the skies, a crack in the skies sounded about the area, dark clouds coming back to above where Asymptote stood, his body generating additional electricity as a thunderous rumble exploded across the skies, a brief flicker of light rolling across the clouds...all before thunder crashed into Asymptote's body, his body glowing brightly as he began to condense...mold...and ready the electricity. His fingers crackling with energy, Asymptote sent out a bolt across the field towards the X-1 that had nailed him earlier...one bolt being sent out from his cables, flying through the air just above the metal towards the Billy...and as Insight began to flood his body, his eyes thinking they were seeing a faint haze in the air. THERE! Asymptote shouted, a bolt of lighting crossing the field as he pointed (hopefully) at the right thing, each bolt he sent out curving and redirecting themselves towards the viruses they were targeting.

Afterwards, Asymptote would quickly follow up, the remaining lightning within him beginning to create a bee in the shape of an Elehornet, his summoned attacker crackling with electricity just the same as everything else he did, the bee letting out a loud buzzing noise as it began to flutter it's wings. The Elehornet beginning to fly towards the virus that Asymptote had hopefully hit, the virus he had summoned crackling it's spark-plug-like stinger and sending out a bolt of electricity towards the GunGeist that had hopefully been uncovered by his last attack, flying past it had it not hit something. All the while, Asymptote noticed a third chip inside his body, closing his eyes, the data quickly escaping his body...to repair it...heavily if he had been hit, if not completely...at least he hoped so.

Briefly stunned and disoriented by the lurking Billy's attack, Asymptote manged to shake it off and leap clear of the ramp just as the follow up ball of energy traced towards him; it collided with the metal where he had been, crackling and dispersing. He had barely landed when a a crack of cannon fire from somewhere made him jump back again, dodging the unseen shot by a hair's breadth. He had raised his insulating protectives, but as he cast around for his hidden assailant, the small super soldier darted to the edge of the ramp, revealing its profile above him. Both arms extended, palms outward and down towards him, before a flood of suppressing laser fire rained down on his position, attempting to pin the massive navi down under the hail of small shots.

Despite the battering, and the way it arced across he outsides of his casing and the ground below, his protective casing endured, though it wouldn't hold up to much more. Almost as if it had been waiting to be a nuisance for that exact moment, another homing ball of electricity struck Asymptote from the side, launched by the Billy. Once again, his defence couldn't quite hold up to that last bolt, and crumbled away as the jolt sent another short-duration stun coursing through his body.

The chips were loaded in, at last, and Asymptote was just about ready to launch his counter offensive. From above and to his left, another crack shot echoed out; this one caught Asymptote directly in the chest, shoving him back and away from the ramp further, but it was enough to let him gauge more accurately where the hidden turret was firing from. With an extra layer of certain confirmation from the chip data, Asymptote was able to launch a trio of piercing lightning bolts that arced across the closed space. One finally obliterated the annoying Billy, and though the second one grounded itself in the panels near the super soldier, failing to connect, the final bolt lit up a bright line that hammered into a previously invisible object. The gun turret that he had first seen carrying the security soldiers crackled back into view as the bolt fried its circuits. It tilted in the air, sparking and smoking, before, with a groan of metal, if dropped from the air and crashed down onto the panels below with a rending thump. Not too sturdy once he found it, so it would seem.

Asymptote wasn't allowed a chance to enjoy the victory right away, however, as, above him, the super soldier had once again dropped to one knee and braced itself while its chest plate opened up. A second scorching beam of energy blasted into Asymptote, slamming him against the far wall and electrocuting him for a painful amount of damage. It wasn't enough to stop the math teacher from a due retaliation, however, and even as the beam faded, Asymptote's second attack zipped across the intervening space in the form of a sparking hornet that pounced on the remaining virus and thrust its spark-plug stinger clean through the robot's chest.

Left alone, Asymptote had just enough time to process one last chip and restore his body nearly to full condition, before his combat systems gave the all clear and disengaged.

Super-Omega is the same as Super-1 in terms of design, but its armor is pure black. All Supers have yellow, opaque visors for eyes, secured by a finned crest that reaches around their heads. Supers don't have any immediately visible weapons, but that is a mere formality because a full arsenal of beam weaponry is stored within their bodies.

Asymptote, turning his head, seeing nothing around him, would begin to hoover up the data from the fight, bank account padded, he began to stomp off...not to another battle...but to change venues, he had some kills to turn in.
