White Tower

DragonierMan arrived alone via portal after dropping off his report to General Yasu of the Neo-Shoguns from their latest mission. The White Tower system pinged him that someone had entered the building and he was interested to see who that was. It didn't take long for him to come upon Nightshade and Yumi lounging around out of their armor. His guard visibly lowered as he crossed his arms and smiled. "And what are you two doing here? Not comfortable enough in your own PET?"

Muffled step echoed as Nighty tip toed his way towards Drago's waist. Circling around him with his arms he huggled himself close.
"I wanna stay with you. I'm a dragonieer to now." Nighty stated, clear indication he was probably seeking to stay.

Yumi instead, soundlessly prowled towards the older navi, gently nudging her head into the knight's palm. "Nighty wants to have some alone time with Father. So he decided we should have a sleepover all together since we're a big family now."

The young navi let go and spread his arms to show his new getup. "Like it? It's been made to be soft clothing perfect to sleep in. No tail though."

The small navi looked over at Drago, then looked away, he was blushing lightly.

"Dad I...I wanna stay with you." He mumbled, shuffling around on the spot. "Can we...sleep together tonight? Please?"
DragonierMan knelt and wrapped one arm around each child and squeezed a hug out of the pair. "Is that all? Yes, we can stay here together tonight if that is what you want." He then stood back up with a hand on each of their shoulders. "You are right, that does look comfortable," he said about Nightshade's outfit. "So why doesn't Yumi have one? Or is she comfortable enough in her own skin that she doesn't need it?" he asked the pair.

"And before I forget, we should make some changes here. This place isn't suitable for sleeping at the moment," Drago said as he lifted his arms off their perches and waved his hand in the air, producing a holographic console. "Hmm... We'll need some beds at least, he said as he began typing away on the floating keyboard. Three full beds rose up from the floor a few feet away, side by side. They were a light gray with dark gray pillows and blankets. "That's better."

"I wonder what else we should add?..." he mused out loud while stroking his chin.

Yumi started wagging as soon as Nighty gave her a nice headpat, materializing a nice hoodie on her. It squeezed tight around her body and covered up her ears, only her muzze poking out of it. Color wise it was matching her partner.

"Well...I guess I have a pajama too now." She mumbled, circling around drago befoe standing up on her rear paws so that she could lean onto the Navi's arm and peek at the screen. "But where is Mom? And Suzu and Aya? Half our family is not here..."

In the meantime, Nighty had quickly rushed over to the beds and pushed them all togeher into one big bed. "Well, we certainly need more beds...maybe a larger one. A family size bed! Oooh ooh we need ambient lighting a fireplace, relaxing music..."

Helpig keep sure had made Nighty very good at interior design it seemed. Or so he believed as just like with her,he proceeded to list twenty different things in the span of five seconds.
"Mom?" DragonierMan questioned Yumi. "I wasn't aware that you had a mother. If you give me her contact information I can see about getting in touch with her," he offered. "As for Suzume and Aya, I could give them a ring, but they are probably busy recuperating from the latest mission. I don't know how active they would be if they showed up, assuming we were planning to do something more than just sleep," Drago explained, before placing his hand on his right ear and sending a signal to Suzume and Aya.

Drago took hold of the vid-window he was working on and Frisbee-throwed it towards Nightshade. "Head's up!" he called out in warning. Assuming Nighty caught the vid-window, he would have the control board for the room they were in. It would allow him to change the layout, create more space if he wanted, conjure furniture and other such fixtures, and various other things. "Okay you two, since you seem to have lots of ideas, I'll let you in the driver's seat. Go nuts kids."

"I mean...Magistrate..." Yumi added with a bit of a blush, hiding his muzzle into her hoodie. "She did...uhm...create me..."

Nightshade of course was quick on his reflexes. He cought the holoscreen with ease, immediately beginning to shape the room to his liking. The beds disappeared, substituted by an immense King size bed big enough to hold all six of them together. Then, the room opened up a little to allow for a nice carpet to be placed on the floor. On the far side, a window and a fireplace-complete with smoldering coal.

Then, Nighty decided on an nice old jukebox playing some fancy calming tunes. Oh and of course, a minifridge just in case someone wanted to indulge on a midnight snack. "There! All done! Actually..." The small cat navi started tinkering with the screen again, materializing a differently colored copy of his pajama GMO right on his dad's head.

"You need to wear this too. I've got one for big sis Aya and Suzu too. Magi...I don't know if she would like tabi styled footwear. She seems grumpy all the time when it comes to changing clothes."
DragonierMan took the offered garment and stretched it out in front of him. "Hmm... Not exactly what I am used to, but I guess I could don it just for tonight," he said as he set it aside to start stripping off his armored plates. "So you call Magistrate 'Mom' now huh? Well, she didn't so much create you as help your creation along. Nightshade could have done the deed alone if he wanted," Drago explained as he started stacking his armor against one wall.

"But he asked Magistrate for help, so she did it out of duty, and a little bit of her own stubborn pride. She is an administrative program after all, and very good at her job. So much so that it has gone to her head, I would say. I wouldn't be surprised if she probably balked at the thought that Nighty would screw something up for such a 'routine task' as creating a Support Program, that she felt the need to help guide it along herself to make sure that nothing went wrong," Drago chatted as he went. "But it all worked out smoothly in the end, so I think her fears were a little unfounded."

He was down to the padded clothing he wore under his armor now. He unhooked his vestments and discarded it to the side, before pulling the shirt over his head. His upper torso was revealed to show his muscled chest and arms. He had a slightly bronzed Netopian skin complexion, from being outside in the sun enough. He was also pretty scarred up from all the fighting he had done throughout his existence. He reached for the top to the pajamas and started pulling it over his head. If it was not in multiple pieces, he would probably tear it so it was.

"Yeah, Magistrate is not a touchy-feely sort of person. None of us really are. Well, maybe Suzume," he posited. "Though I have a feeling she is more of a 'steel-wrapped-in-silk' kind of gal. I would be careful around her if I were you. She and Aya were made as assassins originally," he warned with a sort of concerned, fatherly tone. "Aya was more stoic originally, but lately her viral corruption has been showing more and more. I'm concerned that she is going to go off sometime worse than when I was almost lost. It took my Operator a while to fix me, and even then I still have the occasional bout of furious, burning, bloodlust. I have been working diligantly on keeping myself under control."

He paused for a moment to let the heaviness sink in, before raising his head with a smile and clapping his hands to dispel the gloom. "Anyways..." he said reaching for the pajama bottoms, "What's first on the agenda? I bet you two have some interesting things planned in those heads of yours."

"I wanna spend time with mom!" Yumi replied, bouncing on the bed. I wanna spend time with her."

Nightshade seemed a little less bubbly for a moment. "But...I merged with Aya...I read her mind...I could feel she cared for me...she would never hurt any of the family..." What DragoDad had said was rough stuff, but would not make Nightshade too concerned. Speaking of Aya.

"I want to merge with here again." He stated, somehow much more serious than his usual. "I wanna become Ayashade again. This time though for a much much much longer time.

With you here and no other stuff to care about, I feel like it would be a great moment to work on our emotional instability. You could help us find our balance." He stated, looking hopeful. "It would be a shame to not use something mad strong as fusion."

There he goes, back to high adrenaline excited. "Oooh yes yes. Can I? Can I? Can you call Aya right now? Suzu and Magi too. We should all enjoy a sleepover together!"
DragonierMan raised his hands and tried to calm the children down. "Okay, okay. I'll call Magistrate too," he said as he then put his hand to his head to send another signal. "Don't say I didn't warn you," he commented. "And I didn't mean to say that they would hurt you deliberately, just that they could. And to caution you against their more... um... capriciousness."

Two jack-in beams dropped down into the middle of the decorated room just then, resolving themselves quickly as Suzume and Aya, in full battle regalia. They were standing rigidly as if frozen in place, with their eyes closed. Probably some sort of stasis mode while inactive. They slowly regained consciousness over the course of a few moments, eyes fluttering open, and their bodies stretching by instinct. Aya was the first to notice her surroundings and frown. There was an audible sigh at the quickly dawning realization of what was about to occur, which graduated into a yawn because she was still 'waking up'. "Ugh, what now?" she asked, with a tiny smirk as if she knew what was about to occur, and was settling in to play out the scene for the children.

Suzume's face went from the sunny smile of waking up from a good dream, to the instantly frozen stare of a murderer upon noting someone else in the room that wasn't DragonierMan or Aya, to a quick adoption of her plastered smile when she noticed her facial expression. "Oh hey, if it isn't Nighty and Yumi! What brings you along tonight?" Suzume asked as her face and tone began to brighten and become warmer. It probably takes her a few minutes each day to get into character before she shows up to work, in order to not give up the act. "What's with the bed and the pajamas? Throwing a sleepover?" she guessed from what she could see scanning over every detail.

"Looks that way," Drago replied. "Yumi also wants Magistrate to come, so I sent her a message. Apparently Yumi thinks of Magi as her mom." At the mention of Magistrate both twins took on a dark look. Nightshade and Yumi wouldn't know the history behind the three dragonier women, but Suzu and Aya hated Magi with a fiery passion. Many times Magi puppeteered their bodies against their will, whenever she felt like it, in order to relay information to Drago out in the field. As well as treating the sisters like dirt and a means to an end. This was, of course, before she became an SP herself and no longer needed to use them to her ends. Suzu and Aya never liked talking about it.

They quickly recovered back to their happy personas, or at least, their not-murder-you-this-moment expressions. "Haha! You don't say?" Suzume commented while taking out a nice light-gray, unmarked fan, unfolding it, and holding it up to her face to cover up her expression of resentment and dread. Basically she was trying to shelter Nightshade and Yumi from any such discord in the ranks. Aya had a toothy, biting-her-tongue, smile of someone who is trying to avoid a situation from deteriorating further. "Won't. That. Be. Just. Grand?" she said, slowly. It seemed that Aya needed time to adopt a similar persona to Suzume and both girls were revealed for who they really were, for a moment, from the sudden summons.

"And," Drago continued, "Nighty here wanted to 'fuse' with you again. Don't worry, I'll be here to keep you two regulated." Drago was smiling ear-to-ear now as he revealed the next shocker, Aya's face slowly dawned a horrified expression, before she quickly turned around to face away from Nightshade and Yumi to collect herself. When she turned back around, her trademark 'so-what?-I'm-cool-and-can-handle-everything' smirking expression was back. "Yeah? Well that's okay... I guess."

Aya stepped forward, shaking out her shoulders, and steeling herself for the ride to follow. "Okay kid, take your position. We'll start when you're ready," she said as she extended a hand for Nighty to take. If Nighty took her hand, Aya would once more assume her dagger form, and began creeping into his code again.

Nighty and Yumi queted down as the realization hit the two pretty hard. Yumi settled down in Drago's lap, while Nightshade just looked at both Aya and Suzume with a hint of hurt in his eyes. He really cared about them, but it seemed that it was not quite true for the opposite.

"Well...it doesn't change how I feel." He told Drago, finally coming to somewhat of a decision on the matter. He gently hopped down the bed and walked over to Suzume. He raised his arms up and a copy of the tabi pajama materialized. He offered her to take it and don it.

"Suzu...you're always kind and compassionate to me. Even though you might just be doing it out of politeness. You might not care about me or Yumi at all but...you still are my big sister. You're the reason I so desperately want to be a Dragonieer. And even though you might not care for it...I love you. Me and Yumi both do. We'll try to bother you less but...we do enjoy your company."

To say Yumi was slightly surprised at the sudden burst of maturity from her partner was was indeed correct. She turned over to Drago, then back to Nighty as he walked towards Aya, her hoodie flopping over her head due to its size.

Nighty was face to face with Aya now. "Aya I..." he began. With her it was slightly more difficult considering his feelings for her.

"Just like Suzu...I love you alot. You're my big awesome and super cool sister, always super strong and able to deal with anything. I...I really look up to you. I wanna be strong like you someday. While it's true I'm not a good ninja assassin like you are, you're here to help me...and I am so grateful for that."

He slowly extended his hand up to her and gently wrapped it around hers. "Don't hold back this time. All the darkness you control, all your powers. Show them to me, teach me how to be the perfect assassin like you are."

Yumi moved away from Drago as Nighty took her place in his lap, allowig the much older navi to supervise the fusion process and make sure it would go smoothly.

Without any real threat, the connection between Aya and Nighty didn't need to be made hastily. No wild spikes or fluctuations in power. Nighty's energy would slowly increase at a steady rate over several minutes, turning darker and colder the more Aya's code spread through Nighty and combined with his own.

Aya's black armor would slowly materialize around the navi's body and over his pajama, to signify the imminent union. Nighty shuddered and spasmed lightly as Aya's code reached and tightly gripped around his core, shrowding it in her darkness.

After ten minutes, the hybrid slowly opened his eyes. He glanced at Suzume once, before looking up at the navi holding him safely in his lap with his two deep silver eyes. He sheathed his dagger on hi back and stretched slightly, tail wagging slowly.

He was waiting to hear from Drago if the fusion had been successfully archieved.

Either way, Ayashade was back.
The dragoniers watched on in silence, and with conflicting emotions, as Nightshade sincerely poured out his heart to the twins. Silenced by his maturity, and regardless of however they felt about him and the situation, Suzume and Aya both respectfully accepted the pajamas given without further attempts at evasion. Suzu held hers in her arms as Aya draped hers on the bed before equipping herself to Nighty. The act of joining wasn't a true fusion, as Nighty thought, but more of a back-and-forth transmission of short-wave code. Aya was entirely separate, contained in that dagger form, but her 'closeness' mimicked that deeper connection he sought.

DragonierMan found himself sitting on the bed with Yumi, and then Ayashade, sitting on his lap. He placed his hands on his shoulders and told him to relax and take it slow. Aya's thoughts were almost entirely silent, beyond the slow surge of knowledge that came with viewing her abilities and access to a chip folder far more powerful than his own. This let Nighty have more time to adapt to the union. Clearly he had reached her with his heartfelt entreaty and she was locked away to think seriously about it.

Eventually the link was normalized and Aya emerged from her hiding spot. The eyes in the dagger glowed like fiery jewels and Aya's voice came out strong, but with a tinge of compassionate mentoring. "Okay... Little brother," she began.

"Let's start with the basics."

Yumi was still somewhat down for the news, but tried to not be a bother and moved away to give room to Drago and Ayashade so that they could try out their own things unimpeded.

As far as she was concerned, she was already a good ambush hunter, but observing Aya as she teached Nighty how to do things could help her refine ber own abilities.

The small wyvern quietly sat down beside Suzume, trying to not bother her with her constant need of snuggles and affection. Curling her tail around her, she raised one of he forepaws to adjust the big hoodie so that it wouldn't drape over her eyes.

In the meantime, Nightshade was trying to not freak out too much about the new old feelings of power that being united with Aya provided, as well at the fact that HELLO!? AYA JUST ACKNOWLEDGED HIM AS HER LITTLE BROTHER.

Nighty glanged at Drago. He liked to be in his dad's lap, but he wouldn't pass out on an Aya lesson. "Yes big sis, I'm ready." He mumbled, getting up off the big bed.

Just one moment to admire the jet black and purple armor covering his body, as well as another moment to wonder how Aya would have looked in a more traditional assassin garment before the young navi collected his focus to be ready for Aya's teachings.

To be sure, his sword hand moved to his back to tighty grip Aya!dagger, making sire their connection would be as strong as possible so that not even a byte of information would be lost.
Aya began to drill Nightshade on the basics of stealth: to bend your knees to lower your center of gravity and to walk on the outside edge of your feet to dampen your footsteps. To try to keep close to walls where the floorboards are best supported to avoid creaking. To turn a doorknob slowly, all the way, before opening or when closing a door.

But more importantly, she drilled him on the proper way to hold a knife. Suzu demonstrated on Drago each move. If Nighty allowed it, she helped guide Nighty's hand at each demonstration of a move, then stood back while he tested himself on Drago, who provided himself as a testing dummy. They taught him the footwork, how to keep your distance from an opponent (just outside kicking range), and where to stab or slash to be the most effective.

They drilled him on the primary objective: which was to disable the hand(s) wielding a weapon. That cutting the knife hand of the opposing fighter would 'defang the snake'. When the enemy was disarmed and reeling, they taught him how to step into their zone and go after their most vulnerable ligaments, the gaps in their armor. There were no time for little flourishes, no games to play, no taunting or jeering. When you were going for the kill you had to be quick and surgical.

It was probably why they didn't seem to be personable. Why they were putting on a front behind their cold calculations. They were made as weapons before they developed into people.

Of course little nighty would have trouble picking up all the stuff they were trying to teach him. But undernet be damned he was giving it his all. Perhaps wearing heavy metal armor wasn't exactly the right idea even with his incredible speed.

The hoodie of Yumi's pajama would get into Drago's view as Nighty was busy mocking movements in the air guided by Aya.

"Did you train this way too? " the small fluffly wyvern asked her adoptive dad. "Seems so hard to master if you never had anything to do with assassin stuff..."

Nightshade gripped Aya!dagger firmly. He really did not want to let her or Suzume down. Aya could probably feel it, his burning desire for her approval. It had always been there, but now even more so since the acknowledgment of siblinghood. Now Nighty's fire was burning into a fiery inferno as he dedicated body mind and soul into that unplanned sleepover training lesson.

After finally getting it, he returned to a normal stance and sheathed Aya. "Hm...for how cool my armor is...it's a bit too heavy for these kinds of movements. Not counting that cling clanging around isn't exactly stealthy."

He turned over Suzume with a mischievous grin. "Hey big sis, can I look into your wardrobe?"

"Wouldn't that wardrobe be full of stuff for you know...ladies? I doubt you'd be able to wear any dress or high heel stuff." Yumi replied, a little embarassed her partner declared his will to peek into his sister's wardrobe.

Nighty took off his helmet, which was probably the first time for the dragoniers, and ruffled his black hair then he piched the mask from the bridge of his nose and pulled it down, letting it dangle around his neck like a necklace. Another first most probably.

"Well, that's true. But if my sisters are master assassins and have been inside the neo-Shogunate for a long time. They are bound to have an old assassin outfit I could use or something."

Yumi pouted, flushing red. "W-well it's not an outfit that makes you a good ninja. It's training!"

Nighty pouted as well. "WELL I didn't see you train to be able to silent step and prowl around like you do. Big sis Magi made you able to do that!"

Yumi pounced at Ayashade and stretched to try and meet his face with her snout. "Well! Mom used some of big sis Suzu experience to make me. You can merge with Aya all you want, but she can't magically pass all her experience to you like that! You should be grateful she is willing to even teach you!"

Nighty huffed. "It's not like I'm not trying. It's just...I am just not good enough to be able to compensate for heavy armor like big sis Suzu and Aya..."
During the initial drills, but before DragonierMan stood up to be used as a test dummy training partner, Yumi came to sit on Drago's lap and ask him about his training. Drago patted Yumi on the head. "I never had to train to be an assassin, that was Suzume and Aya's thing. I was programmed originally to be an idealized version of a medieval knight. At least... in the way of being a heavily armored soldier." He sighed and leaned back slightly, placing his hands on the bed behind him.

"Unlike the vast majority of Net Navigators out there, I was not created as a personal assistant, but as an exterminator. And as I fought for many cycles, I slowly got infected by the same viruses that I was built to destroy." He raised one of his rough hands covered in scars up in front of Yumi's face. The slightly darker burnished-silver veins running through his hand, just under the slightly-bronzed leathery skin, were clearly visible on closer inspection. "I almost was deleted by the very things I was made to delete," he reiterated again. "And so I was saved by our Operator, My Lord, through patching up my code with the same virus code that almost killed me." He smirked. "Ironic, that my sworn enemy is now a vital part of my existence."

"But that is not all," he said as he pointed towards the training trio. "I was also given companions to fight beside, to watch my back. They started out as assassins. Guardians to hide in my shadow and deal with the threats that could assail me, before they could. Eventually it was found better to do so if they could dawn my armor and fight in my phalanx. So they traded their assassin origin to become front-line warriors," he concluded.

It was at that time that Nighty and Yumi traded barbs. Once they were done, Drago seemed to continue his story to Yumi.

"Now Magistrate - your mom - was built as an administration program and was only reluctantly transformed into a combat SP by My Lord because he deemed I needed more help," he added, just before Magi appeared in another beam of light. She wasn't wearing her armor, but a long and very plain grayish-white hooded robe, which was her original outfit while she was an administration program. The hood was up, covering her head. Looking closer, her face was not visible, replaced by an inky black pit of darkness that masked her features. But it was unmistakably her. "Speak of the devil," Drago remarked at her appearance.

The hooded administrator panned her head around to take in the redecoration. "What have you done to MY tower?" she asked, incredulously. Suzume paused and took a step back away from Magi out of trained instinct from the clear and threatening admonishment in her tone. Aya could only flinch inwardly while within her dagger body. Drago walked over and stood in front of the slightly smaller hooded woman. "As you can clearly see, we are having a sleepover here. You," he said poking her lightly in the chest, "Have been called because Yumi wanted to see her mother so badly she wouldn't stop wailing." He smiled at the end, as he knew that even though he couldn't see Magistrate's face, that a look of horror was dawning on her face. What followed next was a series of sputters as Magi tried to mentally struggle against the perceived insanity of it, which would leave her wide open to Yumi.

Suzume quickly lead Ayashade away to another room so they could find him a lighter outfit. They pinged a floating vid-window and began altering the room they were in into a sort of training studio and armory. They showed a pair of matching display mannequins with Suzume and Aya's 'ninja' outfits. A full body black leotard with hood, with a leather top and skirt, and leather arm and leg guards. This specific outfit wouldn't fully make sense to give to Nightshade, but with some alterations it would be workable. They produced a third mannequin with a full body black leotard with hood, and began to work on fitting it with a similar, but different, flexible leather armor outer layer. Helping to steer the alterations with Nightshade's input.

"MOM!"

Yumi happily hopped around Magistrate as she had finally arrived. If it was not clear enough the little wyvern was overjoyed about seeing her, the hoodied wyvern's tail was wagging furiously. No opening would be left unused. As soon as she saw the opportinity, she pounced at Magistrate's neck, huggling around her hood with her paws.

Yumi began nuzzling into Magistrate's chest, purring rather loudly.

In the meantime, Nightshade was still hard at work traing to design his shinobi outfit so that it would meld usefulness with style. He tried to understand the needed stuff from his sisters, but some times he needed a double take.
Magistrate continued to sputter as Yumi snuggled up to her, but didn't make any movements to throw her off. Probably didn't think it very lady-like. "This is... What is?... It is purring! Why is she purring?" she asked as she stood there ramrod straight, as if being motionless would cause the creature to not pay attention to her anymore. Yumi wasn't just any old wild animal after all. DragonierMan was chuckling at Magistrate's uncomfortableness. "Seems like she really loves you," he punctuated.

"Enough of this! Release me," Magi commanded before reaching up and attempted to pry Yumi off of her. Assuming Yumi was removed and on her feet, Magi would back up a few feet herself and straighten out her cloak. Magi's hands and face became visible again as her hood was pulled back. Once she straightened herself out to her liking, she raised a hand to stop Yumi from moving closer again. "Ahem. Now, let us start over again shall we?" Magi said trying to get back into her calm and controlled her voice. However, Yumi's actions had caused some exasperation to seep into her tone. "What is going on here?" she punctuated.

The semi-hardened leather pieces attached over the black undersuit of Suzume and Aya's assassin garb seemed to supply two functions. The first function was that it covered over some of the more vital areas. Though there were significant gaps in coverage on the arms and legs. The second function, and probably the primary function, was to make them look more stylish and sexy. The significant gaps in protection, and the fact that they had literal leather miniskirts, raised questions about the historical and tactical viability of the outfits. Though with Navis the actual real-world protective qualities of a proper set of armor didn't really translate.

That was probably why when they were 'upgraded' to their current knight form, they were given full suits of armor. "So what are you thinking you want for your new outfit that makes it yours?" Suzume asked as they worked on the design aspects. "I mean... even though we are twins, that doesn't mean that we wear carbon copies of the same clothes. Putting your own twist on a design conveys something about yourself." Suzu looked down at her current armor and then back at her previous outfit on the mannequin, identical to the one Aya used to wear on the dummy adjacent. "Guess we all start somewhere," she muttered.

Yumi was about to whine about getting thrown off into the the ground. A small yelp escaped her as she slightly hur her forepas lading hard on the floor.

In the meantime, a massive power spike would come out of the other room. If Drago were to go there and investigate, he would find Nightshade just standing there, clad in a completely different suit of armor ran what the older navi would be used to. Purple undersuit, full plates all the way to the thighs, Nighty's feet clad tightly into a pair of talon like boots.

His energy signature had spiked two to three times the intensity, but it was not Aya's doing. Suzume was holding her daggered form. Yet is still felt extremely similar to Aya's own kind of dark energy.

In front of Nighty, there were the charred remains of a empty mannequin.

Nighty was trenbling, partly cause of his unexpected shift Nand partly cause his small body couldn't handle all the power he now had.
DragonierMan attempted to pick up the hurt Yumi and place her gently on the bed. "It's a sleepover," Drago answered Magistrate. "Also you didn't need to get so violent, she is only a child." He attempted to examine Yumi's leg for sprains and fractures. Couldn't be too careful about these things.

"She startled me!" Magi defended herself huffily as Drago took care of Yumi after the fall. "A-Anyways, what was that about being her mother? I did not give birth to such a rambunctious child," Magi questioned. Drago responded with a shrug. "Because you were a large enough part in her creation process, she made the choice to consider you her mother."

Magi was speechless for a moment as she took it all in. "But... Well... I mean, it is true that I was a part of her creation process," Magi mused. "And I guess if you took the other brat as your adoptive son, I guess I could allow this child to refer to me as... Mom," she said, biting her tongue a little. "But I am a busy woman and I have no time for games... young woman," she stated to Yumi. "So as long as you keep well behaved at all times... you can accompany me wherever I travel."

The 'explosion' of energy emanating from the other room came to their attention then. As everyone moved to the other room, they noticed that Nightshade was different. He had unequipped Aya, who was currently being held by Suzume, but still looked different to his normal self. Aya transformed back into her human form a moment later and watched with the others as Nighty began trembling. It seemed the sudden power surge had overtaken his child-like constitution. He might even be in pain.

"Hey, Nighty... Kid... You okay there?" Aya asked with some concern. "Well, that is certainly your own twist," Suzu commented. Drago walked boldly into the room and attempted to place his hands on Nighty's shoulders. "I don't know what's going on just yet, but I believe in your strength," he said. "Embrace and conquer this new power and make it yours," he said to his adoptive son.

Thankfully Yumi did not have any lasting damage to her paw. It would throb for a while though. She sat down on the bed, letting Drago examine her legs. "Sorry Mom..." she mumbled, somewhat visibly bummed out Magistrate had refused to give her affection.

Nightshade seemed to get better once he could feel Drago's presence closeby. He would gently turn around and bury himself into the older navi's chest for comfort. He would soon stop trembling as his energy was brought back in line and kinda melded with Drago's own.

It seemed though that even if he had stabilized, his energy signature remained dark and Aya like. He also seemed unable to unequip the new black body armor that was now tightly clad around his body.

When Nighty finally raised his face up to look at his big sister, he looked at her with a pair of silvery eyes identical to his navi father.

"Y-yeah I think I'm fine now...wh-what happened? I was trying to focus like you did and...it was like by body exploded or something."
